Fog and Mist for the Nature Photographer

For the nature photographer, the environment is the canvas from which the image is created and the weather plays a big part of this. Nature images taken in the middle of mist and fog add a lot of drama, mystery, and interest to a photograph.

Nature photographer that inspires me

One of the nature photographers on The Lens Flare that has inspired me over the years is Karen Moen. Many of her images are full of color and drama such as the butterflies in her insect gallery and the sunsets in her cloudscape gallery. Probably my favorite among her pictures are her landscape photographs.
